Mighty Mighty Bosstones - March, , 1999 (appeard in Issue #2)

Wow, this show was awesome possum. It was at the Sacred Heart University in

Bridgeport, CT (they say they are in Fairfield because Bridgeport is the summits city in

CT.). Security was tight, no cameras, no electronics, no smoking, no moshing, no

crowdsurfing, and everyone had to pass “Pat down” and go through a metal detector. So,

we got in and I got Dicky’s Autograph while he was mingling with the fans. So we got

inside and got to the front. first the shods came on, they are like a rockabilly band, they

were good. After them, a punk band called Clowns For Progress came on. Before they

came on I saw this real jock-looking guy with a horrible mohawk, I thought he was a

loser, but then he started talking to me and he was the anti-jock. So, clowns for progress

came on and they rawked da house. Then, the Mighty Mighty Bosstones came on, they

are incredibly good live. They played songs like “Someday I Suppose”, “Rascal King”,

and more... the only thing that made me mad was they didn’t play “Don’t Know How To

Party”... good show lads!
