Wow, some of you may be familiar with my little article in the last issue… uh, sorry! It sucked, it was horrible. I have heard everything from “It wasn’t well researched” to “Dude, anarchy is cool, you suck!”. Well, it was not well researched, in fact, I wrote it in about 2 minutes at 3 in the morning. I have since regretted writing that stupid article! So, don’t get mad at me! I know it was bad, I know it was not well researched, I know, I know, I know! Every time mike gives the zine to someone, he tells me the next day, “Hey, so and so hates you, they didn’t like your article.”… Damn. Um, I am still not an anarchist or anything, I have decided to not be anything, and not worry about the politics of punk rock… just to enjoy the music. Oh, and on the web page, I didn’t so the anti-flag stuff… mike did that, I like anti-flag.
Oh! I forgot one thing. There was only one thing in that article that I think was good. The part about the kids who buy their anarchy patches from Sam Goody… that is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. Who in their right mind would buy a 10 dollar Anarchy Bandana??!!?? You are supporting what you seem to want to fight.
Anyways, I support those people who put serious thought behind their politics, and I don’t support those kids who think they are changing something by spray painting a circled A behind the local CVS. So, sorry about that whole article thing… don’t hate me because I was ignorant!
